Georgia Community Educators

Anyone can be a Community Educator!  Anyone interested in sharing the word, breaking the stigma and educating people in their community about a wide variety of suicide and suicide prevention, intervention and aftercare, mental health, and depression related topics.

Originally this program was created to give a strong, safe and consistent message for Survivors of a Suicide Loss and Survivors of a Suicide Attempt who had a passionate interest in speaking in their communities.  It quickly became clear that everyone should be speaking with a consistent and safe message and the program grew to include much more!

We host this training twice a year for the general population, and also will bring the training to any group on an as requested need.  If you are interested in attending a "Speaking Effectively About Suicide Prevention in Your Community", contact us at info@gspin.org.

Part of the Georgia Community Educator, is to also create access to a good list of current presentations that can be edited to meet your needs.  As we move GSPIN into its new look, we are also updating the data in all of our presentations and adding more.  This will go live soon!
