The Survivors of Suicide Support Group Leadership Training
Training facilitators for Survivors of Suicide (SOS) Support Groups and developing support teams for home visits
This 2 day training is based on the program developed by Iris Bolton, author of, My Son, My Son. The training is relevant for both survivors of a loss by suicide and professionals who wish to create and facilitate a support group for survivors of suicide loss, or to increase their skills in this area. Support teams are also trained to be volunteers available to make home visits when requested by the family in the crisis of their loss.
Survivors who are at least 18 months after the suicide of a loved one may find meaning in their loss by giving to others who are recently bereaved.
